Browsing and saved places

This preview uses a necessary session cookie for form protection and locally stored place IDs for your saved list and comparison. There are no advertising trackers. Saved choices remain in your browser and can be cleared on the saved page.

Maps and external links

Maps load only after you ask for them. OpenStreetMap tile servers then receive your IP address and map requests. Place websites and external route planners have their own privacy policies.

Information you send

Business submissions store the contact email, place information and the update token as a hash. Traveller reports store the visit date and submitted text. Abuse prevention stores a hashed network identifier for up to 24 hours. Pending submissions are retained for up to 180 days; reviewed private submissions for 30 days, or one year for approved business records. A maintenance command enforces these periods. Access logs follow the server’s configured retention. Do not include sensitive or unrelated personal information.
